The Base Executive position based in Hyderabad, is responsible for overseeing various aspects of inflight services. The role entails managing base operations, focusing on service, safety, crew welfare, performance management, and administrative tasks.
In base operations, the executive ensures safe, courteous service on board, conducts crew briefings, monitors grooming and image guidelines, and addresses crew-related issues promptly. They also manage crew welfare, ensuring regular communication, understanding crew issues, and maintaining crew availability.
Performance management involves developing and managing crew performance, facilitating probation, providing inputs for promotions, and identifying high-potential crew members.
Administratively, the executive ensures smooth base operations, adherence to DGCA regulations, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. They handle operational disruptions, maintain OTP, track flight departures, and coordinate crew movements to and from aircraft.
Key accountabilities include contributing to Vihaan.AI, ensuring benchmarked service delivery, and addressing operational deviations promptly.
The position requires various skills and qualities, including knowledge of inflight base operations, cabin crew operations, and general airline functionality. Additionally, the executive should possess excellent communication skills, empathy, leadership qualities, and adaptability.
Key performance indicators include crew availability, NPS scores, observation flight data, resolution of base issues within TAT, and OTP.
Educational requirements include a mandatory graduate degree, while experience should involve a minimum of 10 years as a flying crew with at least 2 years as an Inflight Manager or from the hospitality industry with at least 5 years as Assistant Manager of the frontline department.
