Qatar Airways is seeking a Manager Scheduling & Special Operations Technology for Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar.
The airport, voted the best in the world by Skytrax in 2021 and 2022, is experiencing steady growth in passenger volumes due to facility expansions.
The role involves optimizing capacity utilization, efficient flight scheduling, and integrating new technologies into airport operations.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to address capacity challenges, overseeing flight scheduling, addressing conflicts, ensuring compliance with safety limitations, forecasting scheduling challenges, tracking key performance indicators, evaluating emerging technologies, managing software implementation, mentoring a team, and fostering relationships with internal teams and stakeholders.
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with a minimum of 10 years of job-related experience in airport operations, airline scheduling, or related fields. Experience with transformation projects, change management, and technology application in airport operations is required.
