Qatar Airways is hiring a Warehouse Supervisor for Qatar Duty-Free in Doha, Qatar.
The role involves supervising all warehouse functions to ensure smooth operations and adherence to safety, security, and legal procedures.
Responsibilities include allocating duties to staff, inspecting warehouse equipment, managing staff productivity, maintaining housekeeping standards, reporting security issues, verifying stock records, supervising stock supply to locations, organizing the warehouse layout, implementing health and safety guidelines, conducting stock counts, communicating with relevant staff, and handling special situations.
Candidates should have a relevant vocational, tertiary, or trade qualification, knowledge of inventory management, familiarity with WMS and ERP systems (AX R3 preferred), at least 4 years of relevant experience, proficiency in operating warehouse equipment, good people-handling skills, knowledge of materials handling and inventory control best practices, familiarity with import/export and customs procedures, and knowledge of health and safety procedures.
